Smokey Bean Burgers with Creamy Garlic Dressing

Quick, easy, delicious, and another excuse to eat the amazing garlic dressing (the recipe for which was stolen from a friend of a friend years ago... thanks!)

Made 4 burgers

Bean Burgers
1 tin kidney beans
1 egg
1 handful breadcrumbs
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp paprika

Drain the beans and mash them roughly.
Add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly, leave for a minute to let the breadcrumbs absorb some moisture.
Heat a frying pan (dry) until hot (test with a small amount of the mix)
Drop a generous tablespoon of the bean mixture into the pan and flatten out to a rough round shape.
Leave to fry for 2-3 minutes until you can loosen with a spatula and flip over
Fry for 2-3 minutes on the other side until browned

Garlic Dressing
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp natural yoghurt
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Pinch of black pepper

Peel and crush the garlic, mix together with the yoghurt, mayonnaise and pepper.
Add more of anything to your taste
Drizzle generously over almost anything

Serve in a roll with salad
